Whooohoo! Today is my b’day, so I’m MAKING the time (and taking it) to get Ep 10 recorded and launched! We cover lots and lots of news and have a new segment, Culture of the Community, where we discuss the Allegiance Community discussions from the forums, IRC and, well, where ever you can find our discussions! This segment will cover anything from Allegiance to popular culture to . .well . ok, I will stay away from politics (yuck) even though it DOES get discussed.

Edit 1-31-09 – belated posting of EP5 transcript (sorry for my delay, Das got this to me over a week ago:( ), but unbelievable job for such JUNK that was the TS chat in ep5. We’ll refine that process and get a better way to do open chat.
This is Allegiance Sports Brief. Less than 5 minutes of news you can use from Allegiance. This Brief, Gandalf from Rolling Thunder gives us an update and his take on the first match-ups of the Allegiance League.

2. New Session of Cadet I started Dec 6, 26 participants. no wait, there were 30. no, no wait there’s more, 33 participants. whew. After the comment made by FreeBeer we covered earlier, we wonder how many of those are SysX hiders? I guess the world will never know
3. TigerEye is calling for assistance in spreading around the Allegiance installation downloads to conserve bandwidth. Possibly for other, top-secret projects? Hmmmmm. Anyway, if you have a “REAL” server and can help, private message him on the FAO forums
4. To quote ogorass “It’s the ‘who the hell are all those strangely named people?‘ time of the year.” That’s right, the callsign reset and reclamation has just taken place. Make your new stupid hiders now before somebody else does.

The release of episode 3, our interview with SF ASL Dorjan, has been delayed by a day or so. I got a desk and spent all day moving my PC, running new cat5 through the attic and setting up my new space:). For the first time in two years, I won’t be sitting on the floor when I’m at the computer! This should mean a little bit faster editing and we’ll be back on our weekly release schedule.
